KARACHI: Shan A Ashary has been chosen as K-Electric’s new president of plank of directors, replacing Riyadh S A A Edrees, the power usefulness said Tuesday.
Ashary, who has been on the company’s board of directors since 2005, is the longest-portion associate of the plank.
“His focus will be on ready excellence at the company across its age group, broadcast, and distribution functions to make sure safe, reliable, and continuous power supply to the company’s customers,” the statement said.
Edrees has determined to stand down from the position of chairman and plank member due to his professional and board commitments and incapability to be current in Karachi due to the COVID-19 situation and hence, not vigorously participate in KE’s board governance.
The novel chairman is “dedicated” to guide the usefulness to contribute towards the “growth and growth of Karachi”, the declaration said.
“The board looks ahead to working closely with the committee shaped on the orders of the Honourable Supreme courtyard to make easy K-Electric’s service stipulation and asset approvals through a one-window answer,” it added.
