Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Umar Sheikh has put the blame on the injured party of yesterday’s motorway bunch of criminals-rape incident for choose a one route when she might have chosen one more.
The CCPO is set to guide the inquiry of the grisly event
discussion to Dunya News on the matter, Sheikh said that the woman had absent Lahore’s Defence area at 12:30am for Gujranwala.
“I am shocked that a mother of three, a lone driver […] after goodbye Defence should have taken the directly route from GT Road — a usually well-populated area,” he said.
The CCPO supposed that the victim be supposed to have “at least” checked her car’s fuel tank before getting on the way as there is no petrol pump along it.
‘Nothing can rationalise the misdeed of rape’
Responding to the CCPO’s observations, Minister for Human human rights Dr Shireen Mazari said that “nobody can rationalise the crime of rape”.
“For an officeholder to effectively fault a woman for being bunch of criminals-raped by say she should have taken the GT Road or query as to why she went out in the night with her children is undesirable,” she said.

Robbers bunch of criminals-rape mother of two on Motorway
On Tuesday night, it was report that two robbers had bunch of criminals-raped a mother of two on the motorway within Gujjarpura police’s authority
The woman, the length of with her two children, was driving to Gujranwala in her car when she was obligatory to stop at the Gujjarpura part of the motorway after running out of fuel, at around 1:30am. She immediately called a relative and sent him her place. He asked her to also call the Motorway Police helpline 130 from which she supposedly received no reaction.
In the meantime, two robbers approached the car, broke the window, and took the woman and her children to close by undergrowth where they raped her frequently in front of the children. They also snatched her purse carrying Rs100,000 in cash, one bangle, car registration papers, and three ATM cards.
